WHAT THE BLEEPING BLEEP BLEEP! THIS INFORMATION SHOULD BE IN THE HANDS OF ALL AMERICAN PEOPLE. ESPECIALLY AFRICAN AMERICANS! AS FAR AS WHAT IS BEING USED SINCE SCHOOL AFTER THIS PERIOD BLACKS HAVE BEEN VEHEMENTLY OMITTED FROM THE HISTORY BOOKS. [ONLY A PARAGRAPH IS IN ANY BOOK SAYING ONE THING, WE WERE SLAVES AND THAT IS IT!\ NOW I HAVE A COPY AND I AM GOING TO SPREAD THE WORD!

i really love this book! it is pretty short, but that's part of the reason i find it so enjoyable. The author really does a great job illustrating the important role many black men had in winning wars and participating on the front lines. It also shows just how far the racists went to omit these men from the history books.

Not a great book but it fine for young kids to read. The book should not be look at to help with any research above 6th grade level.

Great investment!

I ordered this book to help my 8th Grade students learn about little known American Revolutionary War heroes. It was very helpful and much more reliable than some internet sites.

Very thing fine. Very happy.

Worked out great my son needed the book for class

I never knew that African American men and women played key roles in the American Revolution. The first person killed in the Boston Massacre was a Black/Native American man by the name of Crispus Attucks.
